Promoting Wellbeing And The Power Of Dance
Promoting wellbeing is now gathering pace as more employers, health care professionals and program coordinators are seeking to look out for the welfare of their employees as well as the physical and mental health of people in the communuity and other professional organisations providing diverse programs geared toward better mental health, weigfht loss and senior living.

The Science Behind Dance
Research into dance psychology shows that movement is deeply embedded in human behaviour. Dr. Peter Lovatt describes dance as a fundamental human activity that enhances emotional wellbeing and social connection. Studies by William Brown and colleagues further suggest
that the way we dance is even linked to our genetic makeup. Dance provides a unique opportunity to build relationships, improve brain function, and increase collaboration through joyful physical expression.

Dancing Towards Better Wellbeing
Our Salsa Dance workshops offers a dynamic and inclusive way to promote wellbeing. By learning a new skill together, we can break down traditional barriers and foster greater collaboration between individuals and with groups. Our sessions are carefully designed to be fun, accessible, and energising for everyone.

Flexible Format For Your Needs
Our Salsa Dance wellbeing sessions are highly adaptable and can be integrated into regular team meetings, training programs, away days, social activities, exercise and weight loss programs and large corporate events as we tailor each session to align with your specific development goals. This flexibility ensures that dance sessions feel relevant, engaging, and directly linked to your wider goals. The laughter and feel good factor that results enables team participants to relax with each other as well as enhancing existing bonds.

The Impact On People Culture
Participants in our wellbeing program, often experience improvements that extend well beyond the dance floor. These include enhanced self-awareness, developing the ‘feel-good factor’, improving communication and a deeper sense of trust. Our approach draws on neuroscience and brain-friendly learning methods, enabling participants to engage multiple forms of intelligence from interpersonal and kinaesthetic to linguistic and rhythmic all while having fun.
